NXTGEN High Tech – Building the next generation chips

Chips are omnipresent around us in almost everything that we interact with everyday. But the next generation of chips need to be more energy efficient and optimized for their intended functionality. In the NXTGEN High Tech semicon domain 8 consortia (consisiting of top of the bill companies) are working on new pick and place machines, new metrology and testing equipment for photonic integrated circuits and lastly on new system architectures for equipment and advanced packaging solutions. All of these machines will make these new generation of chips come to reality and reach the market.
