Transforming Bike Traffic Planning with Green Cloud Data Processing

In the project "RiDE - Radverkehr in Deutschland", the Dresden-based companies flow.d and Cloud&Heat collaborate to harness the power of hybrid and scalable cloud resources to efficiently process data for future bicycle traffic planning. By utilizing sensor-assisted movements of cyclists of the CITY CYCLING campaign, flow.d collects and processes raw geospatial data to provide interactive visualization tools for municipal planning. This process leverages a hybrid, highly available, and scalable cloud infrastructure solution specifically tailored for the project`s time frame, guaranteeing both data protection and ecological sustainability.
