Program Partners
Many partners of our network are participating this year with their own event formats as part of Silicon Saxony Days or in related events. Look forward to exciting content and new faces.
We thank all our partners for their commitment and look forward to sessions that are both exciting and diverse.
Co-located Events
Hüthig Medien: Sustainability Gate
The focus of the sustainability gate is on concrete approaches, experiences, and technologies ranging from sustainability management and design to manufacturing concepts, recycling, and the circular economy. With contributions from Celus, Elesta, RS Components, Nexperia, and the VDE, among others, Sustainability Gate brings together key industry players and creates a space for exchange and new perspectives.
DAS Environmental Experts: Zero Emmissions Fab Gate
The Zero Emissions Fab Gate brings together experts from the fields of semiconductor manufacturing, process engineering, and environmental technology to discuss practical approaches to exhaust gas treatment, water reuse, and sustainable factory infrastructure.
Infineon: Startup Gate
Humanoid robots are no longer just a vision of the future. They are being developed right now—in labs, workshops, and startups that are ready to redefine the technical limits of what is possible. The Infineon Startup Challenge 2026 and the Startup Gate are aimed precisely at these startups: teams working on real hardware, solving challenging problems, and ready to take the next step together with one of the world’s leading semiconductor companies.
IPCEI ME/CT Connect
Europe’s semiconductor ecosystem will come together to exchange ideas, showcase breakthrough technologies, and build new collaborations across the value chain. Industry leaders, technology experts, research organisations, and institutional representatives will share the latest advances emerging from the SENSE, THINK, ACT, and COMMUNICATE workstreams through keynote talks, short pitches, networking moments, and interactive discussions.
Neext (powered by Drees & Sommer): Panel
neext is the exclusive, interdisciplinary ecosystem for transformation in real estate, infrastructure, and industry, connecting leading figures from business, politics, and academia. Through authentic, trust-building, and interactive formats, we create a space for bold decisions, concrete solutions, and real change—from global initiatives to concrete implementation on the ground.
Smart Systems Hub, ZVEI, HTWD: Manufacturing-X Workshop
Manufacturing-X sounds exciting, but still a bit abstract? In this workshop, we make it tangible: Together with Scale-MX, Semiconductor-X and Smart Systems Hub, you will turn real-world challenges into initial use case ideas with clear added value.
Using a demonstrator and the Manufacturing-X Value Canvas, you will experience how data spaces, partner roles and technical building blocks interact. The workshop is ideal for anyone who wants not only to understand Manufacturing-X, but to actively try it out and transfer the approach to their own use cases.
The workshop will take place on Tuesday (June 16) from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the Glass Cube on Level 1.
IHK Dresden, Enterprise Europe Network: B2Match Arena
In addition to the top-class programme, networking and B2B matchmaking are the focus of the event. Use the B2B online tool to arrange meetings, present your services and offers and look for cooperation partners. Connect with the local high-tech network and international experts.
SEMECO: Digital Innovation meets security
The SEMECO innovation cluster is Europe’s first medical electronics cluster focused on medical needs. The project partners aim to accelerate the pace of innovation for smart medical devices and implants. AI-supported regulatory technology, modular system architecture and dedicated microsystems are the focus of their work. The aim is to provide gentler and better diagnostics and therapies, to promote modern working procedures, to make innovative medicine affordable and to bring highly integrated, connected medical products to market faster. In our cross-sectional and application projects, manufacturers and academic institutions work closely together in interdisciplinary teams. The cross-sectional projects focus on solving fundamental architectural, organizational and technological issues. The application projects access the core technology depending on the content requirements and put the SEMECO concept into practice. SEMECO will receive up to 45 million euros in funding from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research for a project duration of up to nine years. The second funding phase will run from June 2026 to May 2029. SEMECO is coordinated by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Gerhard Fettweis (speaker) and Prof. Dr. med. Jochen Hampe (co-speaker).
Company visits
As in previous years, we are pleased to offer visits to some of the key players in our ecosystem as a side activity for participants of the Silicon Saxony Days. Please note that while the company visits themselves are free of charge, a fee will be applied to cover organisational and transportation costs for each tour.
