Central IT system for semiconductor manufacturing - a case study of digital transformation

A MES (Manufacturing Execution System) system created for a photonics manufacturing company will be presented. The company provides solutions for clients such as NASA. The solution includes standardization of technological processes, management and registration of production, labor registration, real-time production tracking, providing full production genealogy, as well as automation of production accounting, integration with an ERP system, and measurement tools and applications. The described system significantly reduces the time required for material accounting in the ERP system, shortens the time for employees and production supervisors to search for information, improves the standardization of production processes, facilitates reporting and data analysis.
