Supply Chain Quality Control

In Semiconductor industry, target is to eradicate process and product excursions. SPC and APC methods are now commonly used across the industry to detect critical product parameters variations and troubleshoot tools and manufacturing processes. Incoming materials are contributing factors to excursions becoming critical not only to fab yield. As full physical incoming control is not feasible anymore due to complexity of purchased materials and workforces bandwidth, semiconductors companies can now apply SPC to their supplier materials data before they reach their factories using collaborative tools.
